Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)

Under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral services, collects data, and helps teach communication, social, and daily living skills. The role requires strong communication, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals in achieving their goals in the home, clinic, community, and school settings. 

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school, clinic, and community settings

  • Consistently implement treatment plans with fidelity and prepare program materials

  • Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes

  • Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations

  • Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required

  • Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learner's progress

  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed

  • Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the BACB

  • Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code

  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies

  • Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent patient care

  • Adhere to our policies and procedures

Qualification

  • Must have current/active RBT certification

  • High School Diploma

  • The desire to work with children

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work location

RBT Process

1 - Review Cases

Browse the Available Cases below to review client details including age, schedule, place of service, and specific requirements. Select a client that aligns with your preferences. 

Please note: these are the ONLY currently available clients. If none are a fit right now, feel free to check back soon—new opportunities are added regularly!

2 - Interview

If you meet all of the client’s requirements, go ahead and schedule an interview.
During the meeting, we’ll discuss your background, experience, and education. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about the role or FoundArt Academy.

3 - Offer Letter

You’ll receive an offer letter outlining the job description, pay rates, and position requirements. If you’re interested in moving forward, simply accept the offer so we can proceed to the next step.

4 - Meet the Analyst

Once we receive your approved offer letter, the supervising analyst will reach out to connect with you and discuss the case in detail.

5 - Onboarding

If you and the analyst agree to move forward with the case, we’ll send you an onboarding email through ADP to begin the next steps. Here is a list of documents and training we require during onboarding: Required Documents.

6 - Rethink Review

The final step is completing the Rethink review. Before scheduling your review, be sure to watch the training videos on how to navigate the Rethink website and mobile app. We’ll also be available to answer any questions you have during the review, so feel free to come prepared with anything you'd like to discuss.

Rates

Billable Rates

  • $22 RBT for under 6 months

  • $25 RBT for 6-24 months

  • $28 RBT for 24+ months

 

Nonbillable Rates

  • $15 an hour

  • nonconcurring supervision

Analysts (BCBA/BCaBA)

We are looking for a BCBA/BCaBAs to join our team and work with our students to help them identify and correct problematic behaviors. BCBA/BCaBA responsibilities include meeting with patients to observe their behaviors, determine skill deficits, and formulate behavior plans based on student's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create simulated conditions where you will observe the behavior of each client

  • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs

  • Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed

  • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required

  • Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints

  • Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices

  • Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role

  • Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures

  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills

  • Calm, empathic, and patient nature

  • The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress

  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a BCBA

BCaBA Pay Scale​

  • 4 Clients - $45/hr

  • 8 Clients - $47.50/hr

  • 10 Clients - $50/hr

 

BCBA Pay Scale​

  • 4 Clients - $60/hr

  • 8 Clients - $65/hr

  • 12 Clients - $70/hr
